Meet Michele Duffy -
Here is a little about Michele in her own words...
I’m Michele Duffy and I’m so happy to be working with Sweet Stamp
Shop stamps today! Stamping, scrapping and card making give me a much
needed crafty break from my job as an engineer. I like to stamp
alongside my soon-to-be 3 year old daughter (and yes,
I let her use my good Sweet Stamp Shop stamps – they are really
durable!) I tend to prefer a more clean and simple style on my cards,
but I like to layer up embellishments on my scrapbook layouts too. When
I’m not stamping, I like to ski and read, and hang
out with my husband and daughter. I’d love it if you would come visit my
blog at http://about-the-paper. blogspot.com/ .
Check out the cards that Michele made for us this month...
From the cheerful colors to the fun patterned paper - I really like Michele's clean design and fun cards! Don't you!?!

Ok - as promised from yesterday .... I created a little something something using my NEW Walmart craft finds... remember this picture?
I found a JUMBO extra huge bag of sequins for around $2.00 and then I found an equally huge bag of NEON pipe cleaners for around $2.00. So, for $4 I got a whole stash of new fun embellishments just waiting for a card....
So, I got creative and made a little something...
(and, I'm so happy about how it turned out!!)
Want to see a break down of this BRIGHT card?! I'll call it the 'anatomy of a neon card'
I used watercolor - eyelets - neon ink - neon pipe cleaners - sequins - recycled plastic - AND Sweet Stamps!! -- Chalkboard Sign and Kiss Me --
I had so much fun playing with the same crafty stuff I played with when I was young when NEON was HIP - RAD - Like, totally AWESOME! (I'm so glad it's back!)
So, I have a bit of a give-a-way for all my fellow Neon Lovers!! Comment below with your favorite song from the 80's and then 'pass it forward' by tagging a friend that you think would LOVE this prize pack (on facebook) and you'll both be entered to win.... THIS
