Hi everyone! My name is Nicole, and I’m currently a designer for Sweet Stamp shop. I’m having so much fun creating pretty cards
using their newest releases; and, today I wanted to share a super easy way to
create cards using a masking technique. This technique is perfect for single
layers cards; however, you can use them on any type of card or layout, too. I
tend to use this technique a lot because I love single layer cards.
There are plenty of temporary adhesives you can buy online
and at your local craft shop; however, they can be a little pricey at times. In
the past I had a friend show me how she created cards with this masking technique;
however, instead of the fancy adhesives she simply used Post-it notes—and so do
a lot of other great crafters. It’s affordable and they come in a wide variety of
sizes and colors.
I created a short video showing the details, go ahead and
check it out!
I created this card with the stamp set, Press It Wash It.
This stamp set is so versatile—it’s a perfect stamp set! If you’d like to share
your creations using SSS stamps, and the masking technique head on over to
their Flickr page to have your projects seen by everyone. You can also join us
on FB where we have loads of updates and inspiration. You can find the FB page,
here.
Thank you for your time, and feel free to let me know what
you think in the comments. For more of my projects you can view my blog, here.
