Frightful & Delightful

Hi everyone!  Kim here sharing a card with you today featuring this darling Frankenstein (aka Frank) stamp!

For my card I used Authentique Enchanted paper along with some Tissue Tape from Ranger.  For sweet little...oh I mean very scary...Frank, I did a little paper piecing.  Paper piecing is a great way to use designer paper to create clothes, blankets, hats...anything that would typically be fabric in real life.

I first stamped Frank on to a piece of cream cardstock and colored his face, shoes, hairs, and those way cool bolts with Copic markers.  Then I stamped him again on to two different pieces of designer paper.  I cut out the coat first, from the orange script paper, and then the collar, from the grid paper.  Applying the coat first and then the collar gives the illusion that the collor is laying on top of the coat, which is would be doing in real life.  Fun right?  Then I just assembled my card!

What a frightful, but mostly delightful, Halloween card.  Head on over to the Sweet Stamp Shop to check out all of their daring Halloween Peps!

Enjoy!

The corrugated cardboard, behind the mummy, is also from Canvas Corp.  And then that great twill with the frayed edge...So perfect for all types of craft projects.

Let's Get Dolled Up!

Hi everyone!  It's Kim here today to share a fun girly card with you!  This card features the 'o so fun Hello Beautiful set and it's a fabulously girl-filled set!  I adore the darling images and fun sentiments.

To create my card I layed Authentique (this is from the Lively collection) on to green cardstock.  (This card is 5"x5")  I then used a plain and scalloped square from Nestibilities to create a frame.  The fun swirl image, included with the set, made a great background for the frame.  I stamped the blow dryer and nail polish on Surfaces Speciality Stamping Paper (have you tried this stuff?  LOVE it!) and colored both images with Copics.  The sentiment was stamped on a paper ribbon.  I then had to add a bit of bling with rhinestones by the sentiment and a Sakura glitter pen on the blow dryer and polish bottle.   A piece of twine made the perfect blow dryer cord.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and be sure to check out all of the inspiration on Pinterest!
