It's the middle of the week (ack! Already!?!) and we're in 'almost freak out' mode here at the Sweet Shop. We're prepping for the big move this weekend and it couldn't be more hectic. (esp. b/c it's a VERY VERY busy tax season for Mr. Sweet - and he's not really available to move... lol) SO, I'm super lucky to have my Mom with me this week, while she's on spring break, helping me. My parents and I will be moving us - and when Mr. Sweet can spare a couple hours early Saturday - he'll be there too. While we weren't planning on moving this time of year - we had a feeling that the 'right place' was going to show up at the 'worst time' SOML (story of my life... lol) So, here we are - moving the in beginning of April - in the throws of tax season. Pray for us. lol
Anyway - enough of my ranting and complaining. lol - Miriam is with us today!
Let me introduce you to Miriam ...
Here is a little about Miriam in her own words...
I've been married to my husband Andrew for almost 12 years. We have two daughters, Ellie and Carina, and a beagle named Geronimo. I live in Arlington, VA and have been crafting since I can remember (it was the only way to keep me busy). I've been a scrapbooker for over a decade, and recently started stamping and making cards. Working and being a wife/mom keep me pretty busy, but I find time in the evenings to craft. I love experimenting, learning new techniques, and trying new products. When I'm not hanging out with the family or crafting, you might find me playing hockey or curled up with a book.
Isn't she so sweet! So is her creations... check em out!
We love to see scrapbookers use stamps on their pages! Stamps are an embellishment you'll NEVER run out of. (well you might need to refill your ink every now and then :)
Isn't this card a modern and unique way to see the calendar?
And, of course - what's stamping with out one of my favorite sets... Perfect Match. It goes so well with the Chalkboard theme, doesn't it?!
Miriam is so talented - fun - and SWEET! We're so lucky to know her and have her design for us... take a moment and visit Miriam on her blog HERE.
See you all back here tomorrow - hopefully with a report that I've made major MOVE headway! lol
