Spooky Halloween Guests!

Happy Halloween Sweet Peps!

We've got some pretty spooktacular guests on the blog today - so let's dive right in!

Ashley is first - here is a little about our sweet friend...

My name is Ashley Nguyen Newell.  I've been married for 7 years to my husband who I met when I was 16.  I have two young sons and a baby on the way.  I've been stamping for about 6 years now.  I absolutely love paper crafting!  It's a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing my creations with everyone.  I work in the crafting industry in social media.

Look at these CUTE bags she made and the lil card to go with it...

Take a moment and say hi to Ashley on her blog

Next up is Jennifer - she's just a DOLL!

A bit about her - in her own words...

"I am a stay-at-home wife and mom to four hilarious kids, age 6 and younger.  I fell in love with papercrafting in high school, and have been hooked ever since.  When I'm not playing with ink and pretty paper, I love to read (Harry Potter is a favorite), crochet, bake, and laugh a lot"

She made the cutest lil album for her kids 'trick or treating' photos from
this year... check it out!

This is a little snippet about her album...

For my project, I made an accordion-style mini album using MME's Blackbird collection (and a wee bit of EP's Sweet Day--what a mix!) and the Haunted House stamp set.  I wanted to make an album to document my kids' night trick-or-treating ahead of time, so that I can just pop the pictures in after they are printed.  There are pockets with journaling tags, so I can easily add my memories of the night, and frames ready for pictures.  I love how the Haunted House images just blended into my project seamlessly.  I fussy-cut and Copic colored a lot of the stamped images, and used dimensional adhesive to pop them up and give the album more interest.  The spiderweb image works perfectly as photo corners on two of the pages.  Lots and lots of Distress Ink helped to make it look spooky.

Wow! Great job all around Jennifer!

I really like how these two spooky projects are using the same
stamp set but are SO different! That's what I love about what
we do - no two projects ever look the same.

Take a moment and visit Jennifer at her blog

They both used our new Haunted House stamp set -

Be sure to have a safe halloween and eat lots of sweets!
Happy Halloween - Happy Stamping!

  7. All of the projects are fantastic! Especially the mini album! Jennifer, what a great idea to make something like that ahead of time so you can just slip in the pictures and journaling after the fact! Takes so much of the guess work out of the situation. Great job!
