Good morning and Happy Monday! Can you believe that today is the LAST Monday of October!? That just seems so unreal to me!
This year seems to be flying by!
Today I am working with two fabulous stamp sets:
I love how all of Nicole's stamp sets mix and match so perfectly!
Just have a look at my card:
Doesn't the sentiment on the cassette fit so perfectly!?
It's like they are meant for each other!
Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Boxer 6x6 (Basic Grey)
Cardstock: White (Recollections)
Ink: Geranium Red 264, Deep Blue 378, and Brown 705 Kurecolor Ink (Kuretake)
and Kettle Colorbox (Clearsnap)
and Kettle Colorbox (Clearsnap)
Markers: Cadmium Red 217 Kurecolor Marker (Kuretake)
Pen: Millenium Pure Black 02 and Wink of Stella by Zig (Kuretake)
Adhesive: 1/4" Zapdots and Adhesive Runner (Helmar)
2-Way Glue by Zig (Kuretake)
Tools: Scor-Buddy (Scor-Pal) and Watercolor Brush (Zig)
Tutorial:
Tutorial:
1. Stamp the cassette image on a piece of chipboard. Place a small drop of the deep blue ink on your craft mat.
2. Using a watercolor brush, pick up the deep blue color and color the main part of the cassette.
3. Color the inside area of the tape with the deep blue ink as shown.
4. Clean off your brush then place a small drop of brown on your craft mat and color the tape area.
5. Stamp your sentiment on the cassette label.
6. Stamp the cassette on pattern paper and color the heart with a red marker.
7. Cut out the pattern pieces shown.
8. Adhere the pattern pieces to the chipboard cassette.
9. Cut out the cassette from the chipboard.
10. Add the second sentiment to the cardbase.
11. Adhere a piece of patterned paper to the cardbase as shown.
12. Place small dashes around the patterned paper using a black pen.
13. Adhere the cassette to the front with foam adhesive.
