Happy Birthday Sweet DAD!

It's September 15 and that means it's 

my Dad's birthday! 

Hip Hip Hooray! 

I don't know if I've mentioned - but, I have *the* best parents around. They've supported every wacky idea - every school bill - big wedding dreams - and treating my husband as a part of the family from day ONE. (back when we were just kids!) Yep, I have amazing parentsand when the birthdays come - it's a great day to tell them (my Dad today) what amazing people they are and how thankful I am to have them as parents. In a time and place where traditional family values are seemingly devalued - my parents are shining examples that people *can* stay married - people *can* raise children with love, compassion, (and sometimes a little spanking) - and the results are productive and *happy* children. We had a happy loving and amazing childhood because nothing was more important to my parents than the family. 

They are my heros in every way. 

So, today it's my Dads birthday (he's FIFTY SIX!) Eh, if you met him you'd swear he was 35. Seriously, I'm not just saying that - he's on the go all the time and not just 'young at heart' - he's like, actually YOUNG.
