Yippee! I finally get to start introducing the girls behind the sweet tooths!
We'll call them the Sweet Tooth Girls!
First, I would love to introduce you to the lovely and amazingly talented:
Leigh Ann Baird
In her words....
My name is Leigh Ann Baird and I'm a southern girl living in a small town in East Tennessee with my husband and 2 daughters. I started crafting about 7 years ago when I became a stay at home Mom. Once I adjusted to life at home with 2 kids, I needed something to do that was just for me. I started out scrapbooking and pretty much left it in the dust when I discovered stamping. I started my blog over 3 years ago as a way to push myself to create my own card designs and meet some creative goals I set for myself. The best part of this hobby are the friendships I've made online and in real life. I adore creating 3D items and I'm still amazed that a sheet of cardstock, some well placed score lines and a pair of scissors can create something incredible. I am beyond thrilled to be part of the Sweet Stamp Shop team!
Basically, she is an amazing paper crafter and just a really nice person! I have so enjoyed seeing her creations with Sweet Stamp Shop's new line and I can't wait to show you!
Wanna Peek?
I love the colors on that card! And the tape as the background, get outta here!
Next...
I am beyond excited to announce that we have our very own Social Media Coordinator!
Julie Ranae Murray!
That's right!
The talented genius behind CAS-ual Fridays and The Play Date Cafe ... as well as countless design teams.... AND one of THE most talented crafters around... offered to help us out with all things social media! (And, I thought, let's face it ... I need all the computer social media help I can possibly get!)
I am beyond proud and humbled that she agreed to come on board... please give a warm welcome to Julie! You'll be seeing a lot of her on Facebook and all around the Sweet Tooth Girls!
Here's a little something about Julie...
Julie Ranae comes from The Forest City of Rockford, Illinois. She has been married to her British-import husband Paul for 20 years and is the mother of two children and four grandchildren!
Her professional background in retail marketing & consulting eventually led into her opening the largest rubber stamp and paper-crafting store in Illinois. She has gone on to organize paper-crafting events and workshop and retreat weekends which have drawn crafters from all over the world. She is currently a Creative Consultant for A Muse Studio, a wonderful line of rubber stamps that were once sold in her retail store, but are now only available through independent consultants.
In June 2009, she began a new journey with her creative blog Julie’s Open Window. It quickly became an outlet for her passion of creative writing and a place to share her work. Nearing its 2-year ‘blogaversary’, she is honored that nearly 700 people have become followers and participate in a variety of blog hops, challenges and fun when they visit.
She is the creator of the very popular weekly color challenge, The Play Date Café. Her newest challenge, which features the Clean & Simple-Style, is CAS-ual Fridays . She is also the Design Team Coordinator for The Twinery and Lil’ Inker Designs, designer and newsletter editor for The Craft’s Meow and newly designs for Market Street Stamps. Her work in the rubber stamping industry has been featured in a variety of trade publications and her designs have been featured in Scrapbook News & Review, Paper Craft Planet, CARDS and Moxie Fab World.
She has recently become acquainted with Skype and can now be seen in front of the mirror, checking her makeup on an hourly basis...just in case someone calls!
More to come from Julie!
I have lots more about her I can't wait to share...
She's quite an accomplished lady!
But, first... maybe a little peek at something she's made for us?
Ahhh, isn't she so talented! I love the die cut in the back of the speaker! I told you she's pure genius!
I can't wait to unveil the next two girlies tomorrow! Stay tuned!
P.S. Don't forget you still have time to enter the release drawings... don't know what I'm talking about... scroll down to an official release and read through it... then follow the directions! So easy! We're closing all drawings on Thursday the 4th at midnight so we can announce winners in the Grand Opening Blog Hop on the 5th!
(share this blog post... or any other... or the badge... or all the above on your Facebook wall ... link it ... tell me you did on our Facebook... and you'll be entered to win a Facebook only drawing!)
Have a sweet day!
Hugs,
Jacob and Nicole
