Just Add Ink: Stamping In The Clear

*** Don't forget we're having our 'black friday' sale ALL WEEK LONG! That's right, Nicole and Jacob are out of the sweet headquarters - so, the little sweets will play! Use coupon code BFS40 for 40% off your total stamp order - quantities are limited and the sale is good for in stock stamps only! Spend $50 and you'll get a free stamp set (a 2x6 stamp set valued at $7.95) The sale is also good on the clearance stamp sets. YEP, those will go fast (they might be sold out already!) Head over to the shop to scoop up your SALE stamps!

Hi, It's Tyra and I'm here to share how to add dimension to your stamping with transparencies.  Let's jump right in and take a look at the card I created using the lovely Monogram Alpha and Monogram It sets:

I used the transparency to create a floating banner look:

The supplies I used to created this effect:

Option #1
  1. Acetate
  2. StazOn Ink
  3. Three dimensional adhesive dots
  4. Additional embellishments

Use StazOn Ink to stamp your sentiment onto acetate. Cut and affix to card with adhesive "3D" dots.  Cover the adhesive dot areas with an embellishment, concealing the adhesive.  Enjoy!

Of course if you are assembling a lot of cards for the holiday season, you can first stamp your design and then use Option #2 to spend up your efforts:

Option #2

1. Transparencies made for InkJet printers
2.  MS Word, Pages or PicMonkey

Create your sentiment in the word processing or design program of your choice (PicMonkey has a new design feature) and print onto the transparency.  Cut out the sentiment and affix to your card, similar to Option #1 above.  Enjoy!!

Easy, cheesy, right? I hope so.  Thanks for stopping by and reading my last Just Add Ink Post. Don't forget today is the last day for the Back Friday Sale!  Take care and I will see you very soon! xo, Tyra
