A little Challenge Friday Play!

Nicole here -

I was pretty productive this morning so I decided to take a little time this afternoon to play along with some new (to me) challenges. I asked my facebook friends to tell me their favorite challenge and I got lots of great new challenges to follow!

Don't forget - we have a pretty awesome weekly challenge here! Use What You Have Challenge is fun - easy - and prizes are weekly - join in HERE.

I was able to participate in SIX challenges with these three carefully designed cards! Ready for my challenge round up .... maybe your holiday weekend might have some crafting in it too!

First up was a card for the 'Seize the Birthday' challenge and I doubled it with this week's Silhouette challenge. I've been meaning to participate in both for the last couple weeks - so glad I finally did!

I reached for my watercolors (of course!) and I just love how soft and pretty it ended up being. But, so themed too - every element is super 'circus' - and I'm in love. It might be one of my favorite creations I've done in some time! Hooray for crafty successes!

Next I played a new to me 'Casology Challenge' - simple CAS cards with a cue card - this card said - 'fireworks'. And, I decided to play along with 3 Girl Jam Challenge (per a friends request - so glad I did!) They just wanted a shaped card using ribbon - so ideas starting forming...

I like an abnormal 'baby' card. This 'firework' was so cool on this shaped card and I decided to make the 'WHOA' shades of purple. Swoon. Ok, now someone needs to get preggo so I can give this little gem away :) --- (maybe...lol)

Finally I decided to try the Fusion Card Challenge - I've been eying their challenge for a while now! Mostly b/c it's SO open to interpretation - and I like that. Then I partnered it up with the Dynamic Duo color challenge (grey and your choice) --- I came up with this...

I like the mustache and the lips - it's just cute and would work for a variety of occasions - and that's nice for my card collection. (sometimes I'm a little too specific with my cards and it makes it hard to find just the right card for someone)

Ok, I used lots of SWEET in these cards...
