Feeling Trendy- Chevrons

Hey there crafters!
Happy Monday!
Michelle B here to chat with you about what's trendy in the craft world....today's topic is Chevrons!!!!
They are popping up everywhere...you just can't escape them...and if you don't like them, you might as well embrace them...I think they are here to stay!!! ( I just love them!)
One of my favorite places for inspiration is Pinterest! Just a few minutes of browsing will light up that creative spark! Look at what I found on the pinterest board...

I have to be honest....I love to combine a color palette with a sketch to get me going and I was completely smitten with one Nicole posted last week...

Although the challenge is closed I still used this as a base for what I was creating.

Ahhh, chevrons!
I followed the sketch and used them as bursts of color in different sizes and dimension.
I used the Distressed Chevron background stamp and inked it up three times.

Then I used a Martha Stewart circle punch, the smallest Spellbinders circle die, and a hole puncher to cut the different size circles. For the inks I used Hero Arts shadow ink in butter bar, Hero Arts soft shadow ink in soft blossom and Color Box ink in Chianti.

As little fillers I used some sequins, enamel dots and liquid pearls.  The sentiment was stamped using the set Alpha Tabs.
