Hi Y'all!! It's CAS day! Yay! Well today I'm showcasing this amazing stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop: Color Wheel.
Here is the card I created using this awesome stamp! :)
Have you used Inktense pencils before? They are so vivid and colorful. They are a little pricey compared to other pencils but you can find coupons and get these at your local craft store for up to half the price! I started by stamping my wheel on watercolor paper and lined up my pencils so I wouldn't get out of order.
For the gradient effect, I colored the top box and watercolored all the way down. I just picked color up from the pencil if I needed to make a box darker.
Here's what my piece looked like finished. You can't always control where the watercolor goes. I had some spots that bled into the white. To fix it, I just used a white gel pen to cover them up. Can't even tell ;)
For my card base, I added two score lines. I placed the wheel on with pop dots and stamped my sentiment with Versafine.
I wanted to add some hearts below the sentiment. Of course I wanted to use the red from my set so I colored a swatch on a piece of paper and wet it. I then punched it with a heart punch I had.
The hearts were placed on pop dots as well. To finish I rounded the corners. Easy, right!?
