Welcome Sweeties!
We're back today with Jennifer McDermott as our sweet spotlight today... she's a doll - and creates really fun cards...
Let's meet Jennifer
"I'm Jen McDermott, and I'm a stay-at-home mom to three boys and a little princess--all aged 6 and under. I've been paper-crafting since high school (so about 14 years?! Yikes!!), when I started scrapping pictures of our family vacations and high school band trips. I fell in love with card making and stamping a couple of years ago before I had my baby girl---my world was so full of boyish robots and spaceships--making cards and stamping gave me a reason to buy pretty flowery paper and stamps! I love Jesus, cookies, and Harry Potter, and having living room dance parties with my kids. I hope you enjoy what I've created for the *fabulous* Sweet Stamp Shop--for more of my creations, check out my blog at wonkywares.blogspot.com!"
You probably remember her smash book baby book -
She just has a great clean style that makes me smile. - Lot's of patterned paper and pretty colors - it's a beau-ti-ful theme that Jennifer has!
Love the simple colorful elements with the fun images - it's so bright and is getting me excited for all things SUMMER!
I love that card with the falling beaker and the 'splat' --- SO perfect with the 'breaking news' sentiment. I just love that - it's pretty SWEET genius!
I really love how she stacked the books on that book mark. I was going through some old boxes through the weekend and found all my reading 'pins' from the library... if you're a kid from the 80's you'll remember the pins that you 'filled' every time you read a book - then at the end you got a certificate for pizza! - I loved that!
Anyway - here are the sets that Jennifer used today
Also, you still have time to enter our March Release Event give-a-way (this requires facebook - sorry!) You can check it out HERE.
See you back here tomorrow - and we'll draw a name for yesterday's give-a-way and announce it... so you'll have a bit more time to enter to win $10 sweet bucks - scroll down to yesterday's post for details.
Happy Crafting!
