Yawn - It's Monday. I have a coffee in one hand and a big morning smile on my face, it's Monday morning - and I'm going to need both! --- Yawn.
How was everyone's weekend?! We were pretty busy around the Sweet Shop - Jacob (Mr. Sweet) spent a good part of the weekend at work (joys of being a tax accountant) and I (Nicole) spent a good part of the weekend in the Sweet Shop (joys of owning a business) :) But, we still managed to go out for dinner on Saturday and we had a lovely time. Yesterday, I was with it enough to go to the gym and come home and make dinner! It was so nice!
Anyway! You're here to get inspired by our lovely guest designers aren't you?!
We have three VERY talented ladies ready to show their stuff.
First up is Lesley Croghan (our neighbor up North)
Hi! My name is Lesley. I love making cards and spending time with my sweetie of a husband, Corey. A grade 3 teacher; I enjoy my creative time and look forward to quiet evenings when I can stamp and sip tea! In my spare time, I perform in and direct musical theatre productions locally. It is my other creative outlet! My passion is card making and I am inspired by all the crafty people I meet!! I am thrilled to be working with Sweet Stamp Shop images! I recently found Sweet Stamps while on vacation in San Diego and I LOVE them! Thank you to Nicole for inviting me to design for you this month!!
Lesley worked with one of my favorite new sets
And - she reached for an older set (but a good one!)
Isn't her stamping so cute - with all those colors and the cards are embossed so nicely! I'm swooning!
Take a moment to visit Lesley over at her blog HERE!
Next up for today is our good friend - Tenia Nelson
Here is a little about Tenia - in her own words...
Hello all my name is Tenia Nelson and I am a 30 something jazz
pianist, music teacher and paper crafter that lives in Denver,
Colorado. I am married to a great guy named Tim, I am momma to my
awesome son Thelonious(Theo) and I have two wonderful doggie "kids"
Miles and Brillo. I love me some paper, inks, stamps and
embellshments.....and just LURVE to create!!! I am so thankful that Mr.
and Mrs. Sweet gave me this AWESOME chance of being a GD for Sweet Stamp
Shop!! Thanks, y'all!!
Tenia had fun with our new Color Wheel set (which is unfortunately sold out - but, will be restocked as soon as possible!) She also worked with a couple older sets...
How cool is this card?
Tenia was published using this card in 'Just Cards' magazine - WOWie, right!
Take a moment and head over to Tenia's blog HERE!
We're also lucky to be showing off Emily Branch today as one of our 'spotlights'
Here is a little bit about Emily - in her own words...
I adore crafting everyday, I simply can't get enough of it! When I'm not crafting, I'm teaching middle school students creative genius in ceramics and introductory art. My husband and I live with our little bird, Mr. Green in sunny California, where I have over-taken the "office" with all things creative! I adore vintage items, turn-of-the-century design and have a profound love affair with modern design of the early 20th century. My background and education in art history & design mix together with my affinity for vintage goods to create a happy hybrid that shows through in my work. Please stop by and visit me at www.emilybranchdesigns.com
Emily worked with a few different stamp sets today (and has some pretty awesome bonus content on her blog - so you'll wanna visit!!) She got inky with 'Color Wheel' and 'Jars of Sweets' - and even 'Ohh La La'
How gorgeous are those cards - Swoon! Emily is such an amazing designer! We're hoping she stays around the Sweet shop for a LONG time!!
Be sure to visit Emily ( and see more amazing cards ) HERE.
We so enjoyed having these ladies on our blog today and working with them as guest designers has been amazing!
Come by tomorrow - we'll have new designers and new inspiration!
Happy Monday - Happy Stamping!
