Re-vamp?! What's that, you ask? Well simply, it's just kinda a redecorating of sorts. You know, new paint on the walls - maybe even a swanky new couch in the corner.... basically, in stamp business terms, it's a new logo, redesigned blog - website - etc. Yep, we're recreating it ALL!
What does this mean for you? Well, besides being sidetracked with a teenie tiny bit of redecorating construction messiness - this whole new look means
A new look - starting with this... our new logo! (that you can see in works in the blog header)
Easier to navigate website with LOTS more samples, ideas, videos, tutorials!
A cleaner - simplified - design ... so it's more about the stamps and less about the flashie extras!
A space for Sweet Stamp Shop to grow and offer a wider variety of stamps and perhaps even other sweet products.
We're just cleaning up and getting excited about moving forward!
As you can imagine - this is a large and daunting process. So, bare with us as we slowly change everything to the new format.
Our new release is going to happen as planned on Feb. 12th --- and we hope to have the change completed by then - but, if not --- that won't stop anything!
Thanks for all your support over the past year and a half - we can wait to share all the new stuff in store so stay tuned on facebook and on here!
Happy Stamping!
N.
Do you mind if I give you my personal opinion? The SWEET font is very difficult to read. It's pretty, but people might have a hard time seeing right away what it says. Maybe it's just my bad eyes, who knows.
ReplyDeleteWe don't mind opinions at all! Script type fonts will always leave some scratching their heads - deciphering the word. - We decided on using Nicole's hand writing for the 'sweet' - so, it's ok if it's a bit of a head scratcher... lol... We love to hear what people think - good and bad :)
DeleteI had the same reaction. I thought it said A-weet at first --but I love the idea of a revamp and refocus...you know I love your designs.
ReplyDeleteI do see why you might see an 'A' lol - so true! Hopefully people will put it all together and figure out that it says 'sweet' :) We <3 you and your support!!
DeleteWow Nicole - love the new look. Congrats on the revamp - hope the paint is drying well and you are settling into your new surroundings! Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve!
ReplyDeleteThanks Deirdre! You've always been such a great support to us! We appreciate it! xoxo
DeleteI also thought it said aweet at first. Didn't know if you did that on purpose, thought maybe you were changing to 'a sweet stamp shop'. Le the scalloped edge though!
ReplyDeletelove the CAS ness if gives off! the teal banner is the perfect compliment to the purple!! good luck with all of the re-branding/vamping!! :) can't wait for the new releases!!!
ReplyDeletewow I totally love it...
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous:)
ReplyDeleteI love the CASness of the new blog and being a scrolly writer myself, totally love the new logo! Cant wait for the new release!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! I guess I must be used to that type of script - because I had to look to see how it could say something else! Funny how our minds approach different things I guess, huh?

I love it! So fresh and clean! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the new look and the unique font. It's elegant and fresh and as a calligraphy student, I found it fun to look at. Great job. Can't wait to see everything.
ReplyDeleteLove the new look! I like the logo, but I can see how some people might think the S looks like an A. I cannot wait to see everything that you have in store! I love your stamps and I am even giving away a set on my blog right now : )

I love the new logo and my vote is A!
ReplyDeleteI vote for Logo "A". Looking forward to all the newness! (hey, will there be an sale in the future for stamps in the old packages? lol! j/k, you already have amazing sales!)
ReplyDeleteLogo A is getting there.... I think you either need to take the rest of the little tail off the w or have the curl still there just not have it cut through the S which makes it look like an A? It really is pretty!
ReplyDeleteThink you will have lots of fun with your renovations
ReplyDeleteand the ideas you come up with . Looking forward to seeing
all the results. Love the Sweet!
It is clearly an S now! Kudos for adjusting to adversity! That scalloped tag is too cute & it doesn't help that I'm hooked on turquoise!
ReplyDeleteLove the new look so far! Congrats on the remodel, I'm excited to see more!
