I loves shaped cards and having a Silhouette Cameo sure makes it easy, but this is something you could probably trace out and cut on your own if you wanted to!
I took the skull image and ran it thru my Xyron sticker maker machine and then applied Glitter Ritz Stardust Glitter over the top and burnished it with a bone folder (burnished just means pressing really firmly, you can even use your finger if you want). Microfine Glitter is the only glitter I will use now. I seriously tossed the rest. WIth Microfine, you don't get all the excess glitter flaking off your project, which I find to be annoying and messy! :) I created the background using the score board and the jack-o-lanterns were colored with distress markers.
The treat box is also a Silhouette Cameo file. I just cut it out and stamped the fun fence and heat embossed the sentiment all over the background and applied several different colors of the Fall Seasonal Distress Ink (which can now be purchased individually over at Simon Says Stamp) over the top to create this coordinating treat box. I love the way a heat embossed background can really add some fun texture to your projects!
Here's a close up of the set I used! Isn't it adorable??? I made another project using the house which you can find here! The images on this set can be used in a very clean and simple project or a very detailed project, as some of the other designers have shown you on the blog! I love the set is so versatile. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
