Halloween Frame with Canvas Corp!

Hip Hip Horay it's Thursday!

We're back featuring more fun products from

Today, Michelle has a super adorable project to share!

Take it away Michelle!

When I saw the Canvas Corp triangle tags, I thought it would make a perfect Halloween banner to string along a wall hanging.
I started with a Target collage frame that I actually purchased NIP at a thrift store for $6.
Since the photos are compressed between two pieces of glass, I had to keep the framed design very flat. I paired a photo with an image I stamped onto tissue paper. This made the stamped images very thin. Also, the ghost is translucent and you can even read the words from the patterned paper through its body.
The tissue paper also matched the bandages from the Mummy stamp. I colored the image with Copics. The Canvas Corp tissue paper is thicker than gift wrap tissue paper so it was easy to stamp, color and cut.
Since the frame protruded over the glass, I could add another layer of decoration. I hung the gift tags onto a piece of black hemp rope using tiny clothespins. The tags are originally a manilla color which I enhanced with stamp pads and water, in a technique I explained in my Ocean Dream card post. Since the tags are now so colorful, I could just stamp an image in black without having to color it

Adorable, right?

If you're looking for the stamp set  that Michelle used... it's one of our newest releases... Haunted House! This set is available for pre-order right now, so make sure you reserve your set!
