Hey there, Sweet Stamp Shop fans! Tamara (Happy Life, Crafty Wife) here as a guest designer with a cute little 'out of this world' card to share with you! I was sent the adorable 'Out in Space' stamp set to work with and I was SO excited! I usually love most things 'space' themed so this was a perfect fit for me, and luckily, I had some scraps of one of my all time favorite paper collections leftover, October Afternoon's 'Rocket Age', which was perfect for this card.
I hope you like it! I really enjoy paper piecing with stamps, so fun!Some design details:Card base is 4x6". For the top layer I stitched in orange thread and I used my Sizzix eclips with eCal software (basic shapes) to cut out the stars. I inked the edges and adhered to my card with adhesive foam. Then I stamped and cut out my designs. I gave the card more dimension by using a coiled piece of wire to adhere to the rocket. I love the whimsy look it gives!Thank you to Sweet Stamp Shop for having me! It was fun!--Tamara
