Sweet Friday!

with Core'dinations... it's been so 

much fun playing with their cardstock 

and seeing all the amazing projects 

their team came up with!

I'm closing out the week here 

with something really fun I wanted to 

share with you. 

Last night I went to a 'favorite thing' party... 

Have you ever heard of that? 

Well, basically a whole bunch of women 

get together and bring 5 of their favorite 

thing that costs under $5. So, like lip gloss 

or nail polish... or kitchen stuff... or... really 

anything! When you enter the party you 

write your name down on 5 sheets of paper... 

and eventually, when the exchange happens

you present your favorite thing and pull 5 names 

out of the box. So, you leave with 5 favorite things from 

other people! 

Anyway, this party has my name written all 

over it! I mean, clearly... my favorite thing

is crafting ... so, I knew I was going to make 

something..... you know how much I can do 

with $5!?!?!?

So, here is what I made...

I made a card with this little bird nest necklace. 

(btw, the necklace was SUPER easy to make!) 

I used Core cardstock for the necklace b/c I wanted 

paper that was *really* sturdy... and it worked so 

nice! LOVE that lemon yellow! So pretty! 

I sanded the edges and it just looked so simple and 

nice! 

To give them away I put them in the clear boxes 

with a envelope so that they could keep the card... 

OR they could gift it away!
