Yippee it's another fun day with...
If you didn't stop by the blog
yesterday .... here's a little recap
of one of our favorite companies, Tombow~
You might know them from some of these
amazing products....
Glue!! I love this liquid glue...
I literally use it for EVERYTHING!
Of course, their water-based markers
were some of my first and I still love using
them to color straight on my stamps... more
on these fun markers coming this week!
And of course, their runners are super
quality too! (even compared to my beloved
ATG... these Tombow runners are so versatile and easy
to take on the go... my ATG is a little bulky lol)
They carry lots of other fun stuff... BUT
today I'm showing off the pretty markers!!
I'm using 'Old School Rock'
An oldie but a goodie!!
So I broke out some of the markers
and stamped the tape on some white cardstock
I started by outlining in blue...
Then I grabbed the lighter blue and
the blender and created some shadow...
(excuse the blurry photo!)
Then I wanted to make the outside green...
So, I grabbed the green and my watercolor
brush! I love that these markers are basically
watercolor markers!! It's such a cool effect...
Then to add some depth I added some
grey with my watercolor brush!
(this time I put some color on my clear block
so I could pick up the color with the watercolor brush...
it's a much lighter effect... I loved it!!)
Then I added a couple extra poppies to it
and called it a day... (with some ribbon of course!)
Fast, easy, and FUN card!!
Check out 'Old School Rock' in the shop...
partnership with a COOL company
without a little give-a-way...
